TRUCKEE
A vehicle driven by Jonathan Maurer collided with multiple pedestrians in front of the Truckee Safeway on Feb. 7. The Truckee Police Department (TPD) released a statement saying Maurer intentionally crashed his car, injuring four people — reportedly members of the Tahoe Titans and one of their moms.
According to TPD, Maurer was arrested and taken to the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility in Nevada City. He is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, and violation of post-release community supervision (PRCS) terms.

The baseball team was selling beef jerky outside of Safeway to raise money for a team trip when the incident occurred. Two Tahoe Titans and one mom were transported to the hospital.
