After 14 years of housing animals in a tiny and unstable building, on Saturday, Sept. 28 the Town of Truckee and the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe proudly opened the doors to a brand new facility. Board members, volunteers, and community members gathered to tour the vastly improved shelter, and to meet and play with dozens of adoptable cats and dogs.
