Don’t you hate all the rigmarole that can go into planning those high-pressure, must-have-a-good-time nights like Halloween? Stress no more, because we’ve got the perfect night all planned out for you. The Crystal Bay Casino’s Creeper’s Ball is guaranteed to be a good time. In fact, it is such a good time that the event is pretty much guaranteed to sell out every year. You know what — take a break from reading, go buy your tickets, and come back to learn what an epic night you have ahead of yourself.

What started as just another fun party in Tahoe has turned into an 11-years-running party of mass proportions.

The evening features music from crowd-pleasing favorite Tainted Love, a San Francisco-based ’80s cover band known for playing the best (and worst) of the ’80s. All you have to do is close your eyes and you will feel like you are being sedated by the Ramones, riding a highway to hell with AC/DC, dancing with Whitney Houston, or, if you’re lucky, hanging out in the love shack with the B-52’s. For a complete song list to get you ultra-pumped up for this night of epic proportions, check out Tainted Love’s website, taintedlove.com/song-list.

If the allure of ’80s cover music hasn’t convinced you to spend your Halloween at the Creeper’s Ball, maybe a costume contest with cash prizes will. First, second, and third place for best costume will go home with $300, $150, and $50, respectively. That means if you bring two friends and all three of you have the most epic costumes in the whole place, you’re going home with $500. That should be plenty to pay for your bar tab and cab ride home, we hope.

Just keep in mind, expectations are high. “There is one guy who comes in on stilts every year; one year he was dressed as a pirate,” CBC Marketing Assistant Carley Balint said, recalling past costumes. “Just make sure to check your weapons at the door.”

Even the staff gets into the night. Dealers and bartenders perfect their costumes and you can only imagine what 11 years worth of Halloween decorations can look like.
If you’re still wearing your dancing shoes once Tainted Love finishes their set — and we know you will be —  the night will continue into the wee hours of the morning in the Red Room with a free after show from oneness at 11:30 p.m. and DubCOliNG at 1 a.m.

Remember, tickets are only $25 but they sell out fast, so tell your friends about the Crystal Bay Casino’s Creeper’s Ball, the most rockin’ Halloween party in town.
