Library Coalition of Incline Village Book Sale

Tibetan Lama Ven. Losang Samten Returns to Tahoe

NV Humane Society Duck Race & Festival

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Reno’s Wingfield Park, some 10,000 bright yellow ducks race to the finish line in the Truckee River, raising money and awareness for the cause of local homeless pets. Adopt a duck (or several) for $5 each; the fastest ducks will win exciting prizes, including a 1989 Jaguar, a Disney World getaway, and a Las Vegas adventure.
