Students from 20 different countries, including Korea, Brazil, Austria, and many more, gathered on the North Shore Jan. 24 through 27 to participate in the 26th annual Rotary Youth Exchange Ski Days, hosted by the Tahoe City Rotary Club.

Granlibakken and Homewood Mountain Resort graciously provided lift tickets, equipment, and lessons for the group, some of whom had never seen or been on snow before. The exchange students, who are currently attending high schools in both Nevada and California for the year, enjoyed skiing with local Rotarians and socializing with each other during the event. The teens also gave presentations about their home countries at the end of a special dinner at Granlibakken that capped off the festivities.
