Kid-O-Rama at Squaw Valley
Feb. 13 to 21
Squaw Valley USA hosts this weeklong kids’ extravaganza with big trucks, street and ice rink parties, and kid-friendly concerts. Don’t miss the marquee event on Saturday Feb. 20, when Truckee’s own Todd Wees will perform his original kids’ songs alongside face painting, a balloon clown, and a pizza party, or the Squallywood-the-Book Parent Child Combo on Feb. 20 and 21, when local author Robb Gaffney leads a program for parents and children to explore Squaw Valley’s famous terrain and experience what it’s like to be in a ski movie. Truckee-Donner Recreation and Parks District announces the six-class spring session of this popular class for families with children up to five years old. Loving Solutions Parenting Class

This seven-week series held at Truckee Elementary will provide education and tips to help parents of children ages 5 to 10 build their skills through easy techniques.
